An Administration Police Officer stationed in Narok County was on Friday caught on camera scaring off locals by brandishing his G3 rifle, threatening to shoot residents on the streets.
It is reported that the officer fired 22 times in the air, forcing the passersby to run for their dear lives.
The officer identified as Owino, persisted with his unruly conduct for more than one hour before his colleagues managed to subdue him.
In the video clip making rounds on social media, Owino is heard complaining about a senior police officer who has been frustrating him at work.
He alleges that the officer has forcefully been taking part of his meagre salary from him.
Owino was, however, arrested and taken to the Narok Police Station. Officers indicated that investigations had been launched into the matter.
