According to a report by Nairobi News, the suspect was set to be arraigned in court on Tuesday to answer to charges of threatening persons on board.

This comes a few weeks after several Chinese nationals were released by a Nairobi Court after being in custody for more than a year.

The 37 foreigners had been arrested in 2014 on suspicion of engaging in illegal cyber operations and planning to hack Kenyaโ€™s financial and communicationย systems.

However, the judge ruled that the investigators failed to provide enough evidence to sustain a solid case against them.
