Congolese musician Koffi Olomide has been deported following his arrest for purportedly kicking a woman at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

The incident was captured on video that was posted on the web and social media sites, drawing uproar from Kenyans.
The musician was arrested at around 10 pm Friday along Denis Pritt Road in Nairobi, as he left Citizen TV studios from an interview. He was arrested alongside his crew of three ladies, police said.

Koffi spent the night at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport police station

On Saturday, he was removed from the JKIA Police Station and was taken to the airside where his fingerprints were taken before boarding a plane.
