Budalang’i Member of Parliament (MP) Ababu Namwamba on Wednesday explained allegations that he has been working with Deputy President William Ruto.
Speaking during a TV interview, the former ODMSecretary-General refuted claims that he is being used by Ruto to accomplish his (Ruto) own gains.
“I am no project of nobody..absolutely..look at Ababu Namwamba..honestly do I look like I could be anybody’s project?” Namwamba posed.
The Budalangi legislator explained that he is his own man and doesn’t need friends like Ruto andCORD leader Raila Odinga to make it in politics.
Namwamba also explained about the new Mulembe Consciousness which he has been popularising in the Western region and claimed it’s meant to unite the Luhya community and ensure peaceful co-existence.
He added that Mulembe in Luhya means peace, which is what he is preaching to the whole country but declined that it’s a tribal outfit.
The MP made it very clear that he will not join Jubilee but will form a third force which will target to win support from both CORD and Jubilee strongholds.
Namwamba concluded by revealing that he will be launching his new vehicle in a weeks time which will include all tribes in Kenya.
