Kikuyu Member of Parliament Kimani Ichung’wa is on the spotlight after he told off former Prime Minister Raila Odinga over his ‘tanga tanga’ remarks.
Speaking during a church service in Thika, the legislator noted that Odinga was in no position to question Deputy President William Ruto’s moves.
Ichung’wa noted that the DP’s ‘loitering’ was in a bid to ‘devolve the recent handshake to benefit all Kenyans at the grassroots.’
He further stated that the NASA leader should not question Ruto because he is not ‘your wife.’
“Let me tell you Deputy President, only two people have the right to question you where you are going. One is God because you are a prayerful person and two is Rachael Ruto. Raila should know that you (Ruto) are not his wife,” he said amid laughter.
Speaking in Mombasa, Odinga took shots at the DP who he claimed has been ‘loitering around’ and campaigning ahead of 2022.
“You are not sure if you will be elected,” he said, adding that Ruto should not call for a lifestyle audit.
“You are dishing out cash. We know your salary. Don’t ask for a lifestyle audit. We know the thieves,” Odinga noted.
