Sports Cabinet secretary Rashid Achesa has claimed that there are plans by NASA leader Raila Odinga to have him fired from the cabinet.
The CS made the allegations over the weekend during a function in Western Province. His comments coming amid reports of a possible cabinet reshuffle to be done by President Kenyatta in the course of this week.
Rashid warned Raila to stop undermining him adding that he had single handedly worked his way to the top.
There are widespread reports that Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi may be given slots in the looming reshuffle.

After Echesa dropped out of school, he had to take up simple jobs to get by. He worked as a casual labourer at Mumias Sugar Factory for some time loading bags of sugar. He then began sowing his political seeds in the Western region with an appointment to be the youth league leader under the Orange Democratic Movement. He worked up the ladder gaining recognition from the party leader, Raila Amollo Odinga.
