President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday welcomed France President Emmanuel Macron to Kenya and said the visit would bolster ties between the two nations.
He went ahead to tweet in French but Kenyans on Twitter (KOT) were quick to make hilarious comments on the President’s ‘new language’.
“Je suis ravi d’accueillir mon ami Son Excellence Président Emanuel Macron de la République de France à State House, Nairobi. Le kenya et la France entretiennent des relations cordiales qui ont permis de stimuler la croissance dans différents secteurs au benefice de nos peuples,” wrote the Head of State.
