Eric Omondi’s message to Chantal confuses fans: Popular Kenyan Comedian Eric Omondi has left most of his fans hanging after posting a message insinuating that it over between him and his long term Italian-Kenyan girlfriend, Chantal Grazioli.
In an Instagram post, Eric starts by saying that he will miss Chantal and wishes her all the best as she moves on into her ‘new phase’.
His message has startled many especially since he had earlier stated that they were planning an Sh80 million wedding.
“Our wedding hasn’t happened yet because I’m waiting for you [Kenyans] to help me fundraise. I need Sh80 million; for the dowry payment, pre-wedding and main wedding. Soon, I will share M-Pesa number so people can contribute something,” Eric said while speaking to Word Is on Monday.
Most fans can’t tell if the comedian is joking about breaking up with Chantal or if the break up is actually true.
“I WILL MISS YOU. I met you when you were only 19…I have known you for 4 and a half years…Shared and created some of the best moments in life with you. You changed my life COMPLETELY…As you move into your new phase in life with or without me I want to wish you all the best My Love??…The paths that brought us together are now facing different directions and as you move on in your path I WISH you the BEST life has to offer,” read part of Eric’s message.
In the recent past, we have seen celebrity couple break up, throw shades at each other on social media only to get back together.
It started with musician Otile Brown’s relationship with socialite Vera Sidika relationship where the two broke up after a baecation to Mauritius only to get back together and broke up again.
Otile even released two songs, one saying how much he loved Vera despite what people said and the other one dissing her and saying that she is not whom he thought he was.
The other break up that took netizens by surprise was Natalie Tewa’s and Rnaze relationship which saw a lot of abusive and nasty comments from both of them on social media.
So many people were surprised at the ‘Bonnie and Clyde’ break up since their undying love was portrayed all over their social media platforms. The two however got back together after a mediation by Vera Sidika.
The truth about Eric’s relationship with his girlfriend is yet to come out as Chantal has not yet responded to the comedian’s post.
