Optiven Takes Its Footprint To Canadian Cosmos: The welcoming of Pauline Mwangi, the Chairlady of the Kenya Women in Canada KWICA to the Optiven Group Head quarters was a clear indication of great things to come. At hand to receive the KWICA Chairlady was none other that the Optiven Group Chief Executive Mr. George Wachiuri. The team had met in the heart of Kenyaโs capital to deliberate on the status of business involving both countries and how to partner in future engagements.
This comes as Optiven Limited, the real estate arm of the Optiven Group has been engaging more and more customers in Canada. The team representing Optiven was last in Canada in the year 2016 where they held a number of forums for Kenyans living in Canada among them distinguished members of KWICA โ Kenya Women in Canada, among others.
The attendees to the forums organized by Optiven in both Ottawa and Toronto cities, provided a great opportunity to partner in transformation through land ownership at Amani Ridge, Victory Gardens and Garden of Joy being the favourite projects to invest in.
Like Pauline, the guests meeting courtesy of Optiven were also advised on the different value additions that have been erected on the projects to make them not only aesthetic but investor friendly meaning buyers can commence building as soon as they are done with their payments.
The team representing Optiven took time to engage the investors in the process towards property ownership, the payment options available, the value additions on the ground and any charges applicable in terms of government fees.
Apart from the courtesy visit to the Optiven Group Headquarters, Madam Pauline was also keen to see more collaboration between KWICA and Optiven Limited with regard to transformation through engaging investors.
Already, the Optiven Group real estate arm has partnered with KWICA in initiatives aimed at empowering itโs members and providing the members with opportunities to invest back in Kenya.
Speaking during the courtesy call at the Barclays Plaza offices, Mr. George Wachiuri, the CEO at Optiven Group lauded the KWICA initiatives to empower its members noting that, โOptiven we exist to empower and transform investors in socio-economic areas with focus on home ownership and a target of providing at least 30000 homes to Kenyans by the year 2030.โ
Wachiuri added that this is key for many Kenyans who are working in the diaspora including Canada but who are keen to return home in the future and as such will need their own homes. According to Wachiuri, โOptiven has been in the real estate space for over two decades and with time we continue to lead in providing value that is relevant especially to our diaspora investors with an aim to making them comfortable on returnโ.
His sentiments come shy of one month since the premier project dubbed Amani Ridge | The Place of Peace in Kiambu launched the gate and wall building. The project located in Kiambu and next to both Nova Pioneer and Tatu City will host the most user friendly and aesthetic gate in that community with completion dates set for 31st December 2019.
The groundbreaking for the first house on the project was done in May 2019 amidst celebrations and pomp being a testimony that the projects by Optiven Limited are ready to build with the relevant value additions done in advance.
Senior Sales Manager at Optiven Limited George Muteti says, โwe appreciate the support from the diaspora fraternity and especially Canada where we have had a number of investors becoming property owners courtesy of Optiven. Our promise is to ensure that with the investments, comes value for money and even better, we are happy to deliver title deed right to the hands of our customers.โ
Muteti who is leading a delegation of customers to Mombasa this November 2019 under the Tujibambe Mombasani Campaign adds: โInvesting with Optiven is fun as we work to ensure that our customers are not only empowered but that the journey is also enjoyable. This is why campaigns such as the Tujibambe Mombasani exist in a series of others where we celebrate the milestones of owning land with our customersโ.
This is in line with the Optiven philosophy of improving lifestyles of investors and encouraging the bonds of family and friends through coming together to celebrate key milestone including ownership of land and other assets.
