Diaspora Kenyans for Hungry Kenyans

Kenyans in the New England area have teamed up in what is termed as a historic show of unity to celebrate the Mashujaa Day (Heroes Day) and raise funds to help curb famine ravaged northern part of Kenya that has left images of malnourished children and dying livestock. The fundraiser will take place on October 22, 2011 in Worcester, MA (USA) starting at 3:00 p.m. The venue is the Holy Name Central High School Auditorium, 144 Granite St, Worcester, MA 01614. Mashujaa Day is a day dedicated to honor men and women who have made lasting marks in Kenyan history and is celebrated on 20th October every year in Kenya. On this day, we will all be heroes, as we stand, support and help the hunger victims.
