Kenya’s Nameless headed to Dubai for Mega concert
Wednesday, 05/09/2012 – Many have inquired on whom created the catchy line, “Ikibamba sana wapi nduru weuwe…” The phrase has caught up with many and is every DJ’s favourite.
Some Kenyans have even made it their message and ringtone. DJs are always on the hunt for catchy phrases that make their mixes worth the salt. A big tune and Kibaki’s comical speeches are among popular phrases by local DJs.
Argument has risen as some of Kenya’s DJs claim that they crafted it. K24’s DJ Juan-a producer and DJ of the show Riddim Up (K24) has come out giving credit to the man behind the drop.
Talking of DJ Juan, he is set to travel to Dubai to mix courtesy of Supremacy Sounds on a hyped Nameless concert. It has been glorified to be one of the biggest concerts ever.
The concert is sponsored by Kenya Airways. It is set to be on 28th September 2012 at the Ramee Royal Hotel. DJ Juan will travel to the Arab country to provide music by Supremacy Sounds. The event organisers claim that everything is in order and that they will not disappoint.
