Friday October 5, 2012 – Kenya National Congress (KNC) presidential hopeful Peter Kenneth seems to be dancing to his tune alone, after his key campaigners defected to the party associated with Deputy Prime Minister Uhuru Kenyatta, The National Alliance (TNA).
Party Secretary General Alice Wambui accompanied by a dozen KNC officials attended the last weekend’s TNA retreat in Naivasha.
According to a mole who spoke to the DAILY POST, other officials in the party are considering jumping ship as they fear it cannot survive the TNA wave which seems to be engulfing other parties in central Kenya.
Although the Gatanga MP has reiterated he will go up to the end with his presidential ambitions, his close advisors are in panic mode following the recent defections.
Will Peter Kenneth weather the TNA storm in Central Kenya?
