Video:Chaos erupt at Kidero’s rally

After getting the clearance from the IEBC, ODM’s gubernatorial candidate Evans Kidero headed to Nairobi’s Eastlands area but his rally was marred by chaos that left one person with serious injuries after he was stabbed chaos erupted at Nairobi’s Huruma estate after former aspirants who had accompanied Kidero clashed as they blamed each other for vote rigging during the party primaries. Margaret Wanjirus son, Steven Kariuki and rival Anthony Oluoch who were vying for the same seat on an ODM ticket confronted each other at the rally in a scene that degenerated into a full blown brawl involving their supporters. The chaos that took the better part of the afternoon saw business owners close shop for fear of looting. Kidero will take on ferdinand waititu, phillip kisia and jimnah mbaru for the Nairobi governor’s seat.
