Life has its number of mysteries, some that we anticipate and others we never see coming. No one knows what exactly to except tomorrow, your tomorrow could be better than today or worse or not change at all. You meet someone for a short period of time; they make a huge impact on you only to exit from your life faster than they came in. You spend a good day with someone, only to hear that they have departed the next day. You get a good job, only for the company to decide to downsize or close down in a few months. Things and events are always taking place in our lives; some make us trust in God more, others force us to question God’s purpose for our lives.
But the mysteries are not ours to reveal, if we try to unravel them, we might lose our mind in the process. Have comfort in knowing whatever you have rightfully gained is yours to keep, whatever you have lost you shall gain double, just like Job in the Bible. Those who have left us, we have faith that we will see them again. The God we serve, we shall one day meet Him face to face and He will reveal everything to us. In the meantime be encouraged in knowing that there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries in His own ways and in His own time.
