One time a poor man who lived a humble life observing all God’s commandments, got very angry with a man who was wasting all his money in beer dens instead of donating that money to the poor. He asked God why he wouldn’t give him all that money so that he could help the poor and the sick. The poor guy was so pissed that he told God he didn’t want to stay on earth anymore and wanted to go to heaven.
That evening an angel took him to a place where he could see his entire town. As he was wondering how his small town would look like several years after, he saw a man hiding a big sack under thorny tree and left. Moments later the drinking man appeared in his stupor on his way home. As he passed by the bush, he got spiked by a thorn and paused to remove the thorn. He was too drunk to stand up, and he decided to sleep there, he reached for that sack and used it as a pillow. He couldn’t understand why the angel took him to a place where he could see that drunk man that he detested so much. He then saw a group of people walking towards the bush searching for something, when they got near the bush, they started shouting “here is the thief”, and they started beating him up. He was so disgusted by the act, because he knew the man who was being accused of being a thief was actually innocent. God appeared and asked him “yesterday you condemned him but now you are his defender”.

Romans 2:1-3:Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things…
