Word of the Day: Our Light Everyday
May be you feel darkness encroaching upon you, and there is a certain area of your life that needs light today. You may feel burdened by worry, fear, or doubt. To you and to all of us, God’s light is real. It is available to all! It gives life to all things. It has the power to soften the sting of the deepest wound. It can be a healing balm for the loneliness and sickness of our souls. In times of despair, it can plant the seeds of a brighter hope. It can enlighten the deepest valleys of sorrow. It can illuminate the path before us and lead us through the darkest night into the promise of a new dawn.
You might be in a seemingly dark situation, or maybe you need some insight into a decision you have to make. Maybe you need the light of understanding into a particular situation. Whatever is going on in your life right now, God’s Word promises that light will arise.
He promises to brighten every area of your life. The Bible tells us in the book of Psalms that God’s Word is a lamp to your feet and light to your path. You can turn the light on, so to speak, by studying and meditating on the Word of God. Ask the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart and shine the truth of God’s Word throughout your being. As you meditate on the Word of God, you will see that light arise in your life. Your path will be clear, and you will move forward into the abundant life the Lord has in store
