The organisation, though lawyer Harison Kinyanjui has also challenged Audreyโ€™s assertions that she has suffered psychological trauma due to her claimed gender status.

Audrey has sued the Kenya National Examination Council seeking the removal of the male gender mark in her academic certificate to reflect her female status. She also seeks to change her name from Ithibu Andrew Mbugua to Audrey Mbugua Ithibu. The organization argues that this would set a dangerous precedent.
