Another Kenyan John Moruri Bogita passes away in Jersey City
It is with great sadness, solemn hearts, and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Mr. John Moruri Bogita of Jersey City, New Jersey who suffered from Pancreatic Cancer. He succumbed to his illness on October 26th at around 11:45pm. Mr. Bogita was a son to the late Mr. Elijah Bogita and Mrs. Doricas Obonyo Bogita.
He was the husband to the late Jenes Kerubo Onderi Bogita. He was the beloved father to Dennis Moruri (US Navy-Virginia), Benard Moruri, Benson Moruri and Linet Moruri. He was a brother to Peris Bogita, Isaac Bogita, Miriam Bogita, Peninah Bogita, Jane Bogita, Priscah Bogita, and Jared Bogita.
Family and friends are meeting daily at 1880 JF Kennedy Boulevard, Jersey City, NJ 07305.
A Fundraiser to help cover Funeral, Travel and Body Transportation costs to Kenya that will be held on Saturday, November 9th between 6pm-10.30pm, at Muungano SDA Church Dining Hall, 15 Brinkerhoff St, Jersey City NJ 07304.
The Funeral Service and body viewing is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 10th at St. Bethel SDA Church, 271 STEGMAN JERSEY CITY NJ 07305 from 3pm to 5pm.
