LET US COME TOGETHER TODAY AND HELP MOSES
Moses Munene is a hero of some kind in the Diaspora especially in Washington DC metro area where he lives but very few people know him.
The reason he is not known is because he is not a community leader and he has not done anything that people would consider important at all.
Moses came to America 10 years ago and has been living in Washington DC. Due to an accident that happened in Kenya 20 years ago, he is paralyzed from waist down and as a result, he is confined to a wheel chair.
Though he came to the US to seek medical treatment, it did not work out as he expected and as a result, he was homeless and ended up in a homeless shelter.
Moses has gone through what many Kenyans experience and the reason why he is a hero is because he overcame all the challenges of homelessness, lack of papers, the handicap of been in a wheelchair and started a small business of selling handicraft from which he has managed to support himself and his family back home.
The venue and date for Farewell/fundraiser event has been changed from Powerhouse Church to NW , Washington DC. It will be held on Sat Nov. 9th from 2.00pm – 6pm at 2530 Q Street, NW, Washington DC 20007.
Moses would like to go and start another business in Kenya and would very much need your support. Kindly come encourage and give him the support he needs to have a good start when he gets back.
