Photos:Talented street boy gets help from City Millionaire
The sun has finally risen for Morris Mwenda, the chokora who shot to fame barely 48 hours after a video of him speaking fluent English asking the Kenyan government to give Street children an opportunity to prove their worth, went viral.
Morris who was being taken care of at Homeless Children Home in Nairobi County finally has a reason to smile after city multi-millionaire Joe Kariuki did the unthinkable for him.
Joe Kariuki, the former Candy and Candy Record label boss, has paid school fees for Morris and 6 other children who were not in school (from Homeless Children’s Home). The kids have now joined Highridge Primary School where Joe Kariuki will cater for their fees and other basic needs.
