It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to Glory of Mr. John Wilson Waweru Macharia on Tuesday 16th, February, 2016 at The Royal Hospital, London after a short battle of Brain Haemorrhorage.
Late John was born on 7th September, 1964 to the late Mr. Francis Macharia Kariuki and Mrs. Grace Wanjiru of Raini, Kiambu, Kenya. He was the ex-husband of Janet Warner of Eltham, SE London. He was son-in-law to Mr. & Mrs. Ian Warner of Eiltham.
He was the Father to Stephanie Grace Wanjiru and Alfred Wayne Macharia. Brother to Peter Kariuki (Kenya), Noah Mugwe (London), Mrs. Eddah Gitau (London), Mrs. Beatrice Kigera (USA) and the Late Sarah Macharia. Brother-in-Law to Ms. Viola Njenga (USA), John Kigera (USA), The Warner family – Karen (Scotland), Alice, Duncan, Douglas Kiongo, Donald, Njambi, Pam (London), Margaret and Njoki (Kenya) and the Late Edward Gitau.
Uncle to Brandon Macharia (Kenya), Alec, Macharia, Kariuki, Shirley (USA), Napoleon, Eliza, John Ian, Hawa, Ian Kiongo, Rachel, Jonathan, Tony, Jermaine, Jayden, Nassir, Wakiiya (all in London) and amongst many others. Cousin to Mr. Ken Wamitho (Kenya), Sammy Kigera,Pastor Margaret Wangari (Kenya), Singer Racheal Njeri (London).
