Corridors Of Power:Identity of woman in Wetangula domestic row Revealed

WetaThe identity of the woman at the centre of a domestic row with Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula can be revealed. Her name is Anne Waceke Ngugi Wetang’ula. Corridors hears she has been spotted in the company of Jubilee advisers and has visited the office of the Deputy President several times. Those in the know were overheard whispering her meetings with Jubilee leaders could be connected to the family row. It is said her dealings with the “enemy” could have political implications for the senator in 2017.


A former CEO of a health institution last week was overheard bragging that he is not worried about corruption and conflict of interest charges against him because all he needs to know is the amount of bail he will be required to pay. The man said thereafter, all he needs to do is set aside an amount of money he will then use to bribe the judiciary to have his cases prolonged as he enjoys the ‘fruits of his labour’.


In Embakasi East, a parliamentary aspirant by the name Stephen Mukabana commissioned an opinion poll, which showed him leading all the other candidates. A senior government official who lives in Nyayo estate was overheard saying Mukabana is a man of the people who has helped many get services. He said the people have no option, but to support Mukabana because unlike the others, he has assisted them acquire land. Other aspirants are said to have bought beer.


So where is the Inspector General of Police and the GSU commandant when land belonging to the police service is stolen with impunity? This is the question some residents of Ruaraka put to Corridors after a huge parcel of land belonging to GSU headquarters was hived off. The land on Outer Ring Road has been fenced and a huge gate erected. Residents said Inspector General Joseph Boinnet must intervene this time and save public land from being grabbed by greedy private developers. Its alleged the brazen landgrab could have roped in senior cops at the Ruaraka-based headquarters.
