Jubilation in Eldoret following Ruto, Sang acquittal


Calls for peace and reconciliation dominated as Eldoret witnessed one big street party Tuesday following the International Criminal Court’s acquittal of Deputy President William Ruto and radio journalist Joshua arap Sang.

Mr Sang’s family members joined Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago, Moiben MP Silas Tiren and hundreds of local residents and clergy in song and dance at the iconic “Paradise” junction in the central business district of the county capital.
