Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has stated that he would not be defending his seat on a Jubilee ticket in the 2017 polls.
Bomet governor Isaac Ruto says he will not join Jubilee party saying its agenda is not known. Addressing supporters of his Mashinani Party, Ruto says he has lost confidence in URP, the party that sponsored him in the last general election. He added that it was wrong for the president and his deputy to assume that dissolving parties was a step in the right direction towards achieving democracy in the country.
