Deputy President William Ruto’s brother, who goes by the name Harrison Kiptoo, is dead.
Harrison was rushed to Nairobi Hospital last week but his dawn came on Saturday 16, 2016 at the hospital.
His body has been transferred to Lee Funeral Home Eldoret
Kiptoo is one of Ruto’s many brothers and sisters. He will be buried at Ruto’s ancestral home in Turbo.

Deputy President William Ruto’s younger brother, Harrison Kiptoo Korir, passed away in July 2016 at the age of 36. He succumbed to kidney cancer, a condition that was reportedly diagnosed at an advanced stage.
At his burial in Kamagut, Uasin Gishu County, leaders from various political backgrounds, including President Uhuru Kenyatta, attended to pay their respects.
Both leaders emphasized the importance of early cancer screening, highlighting that timely detection can significantly improve treatment outcomes.
Harrison Kiptoo is survived by his widow, Agnes, and two sons. His passing underscored the critical need for public education on cancer awareness and the benefits of regular health check-ups
