Merely few months after siting beside the road to make a phone call, Museveni pulls another stunt that has left many shocked. He was today spotted carrying water on his bicycle from the river. Casually dressed, the East African long serving president was determined to water some bananas in a government farm.
He posted this in social media “this morning I fetched water on my bicycle todemostrate drip irrigation for coffee and bananas that I have planted on the 24 acres of land recently acquired by the government in Kawumu Village. Loweero District. I will continue with my door-to-door mobilization and sensitization on operation wealth creation”
Museveni is in a bid for re-election amid controversy of opposition supression by his government. Many are left questioning whether such acts by East African prersidents are really aimed at development or campaign strategies through publicity.
