Dear family & friends, It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved brother, Benson Kimani Thiru in South Africa. He endured a long intense illness and God did what was best for him. May his soul Rest In Peace.

He was the son of Benson Thiru Karanja & Eunice Wanja Thiru. Stepson to Dorcas Warigia Thiru. Father to Wanja Kimani. Husband to Emily Momanyi.

He was brother to David Karanja Thiru, Catherine Wangari Gathaiya, Frank Karanja Thiru, Nelson Ndungu Thiru, Rufus Ngugi Thiru, and Naomi Wangui Thiru Nganga of California.

Stepbrother to Chris Karanja Thiru of Netherlands, Faith Wangui Thiru, Alice Mwihaki Thiru of Maryland, Jeff Karanja Thiru, Sarah Wangui Thiru, Naomi W. Thiru and Naomi Wangui Thiru.

The body of Benson Kimani Thiru will be flown to Kenya for burial.

Family and friends will be meeting for prayers at 7296 Blue Oak Rd,
Riverside, CA 92507

On Friday 9/15 7pm & Sunday 9/17 at 5pm
