3 Months With Dry Taps- Kabogo Complain To Sonko About Water
In a clear sign of bad politics cutting across class, former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo has taken to Twitter to decry prolonged periods of no tap water.
Early this week, Kabogo tweeted to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko alerting him of the situation around Windsor. He said that they have gone for 3 months without water, arguing that they also pay taxes and should therefore receive services.
“Ndugu. Get us water at our area. We also pay taxes. We’ve not had water for 3 months. Windsor in case you(‘v)e forgotten.” Kabogo tweeted.
Sonko however did not reply to the tweet.
Clearly water is a big issue, not just in the poor or middle class estates but everywhere. Hopefully the controversial Murang’a Northern Collector Tunnel will solve most of the problem.
