PHOTOS of President Uhuru, Cabinet Secretaries in Primary Schools
Members of the Cabinet in Kenya took some special time to support thousands of pupils sitting their final primary school examinations by visiting them in their schools in different parts of the country.
The examinations, Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE), is tackled by class eight pupils as their final examination at that level of study after eight years.
President Uhuru Kenyatta surprised candidates at Westlands Primary School early Wednesday morning just before they sat for their science examination paper.
On Monday, the candidates had sat for their Mathematics, English and Composition papers.
The Cabinet Secretary for Public Service, Youth, and Gender Affairs Sicily Kariuki had earlier visited candidates at Dundori Primary school.
There was also Cabinet Secretary Environment & Natural Resources Pro. Judi Wakhunghu who visited candidates at Cheleta School.
Prof. Wakhunghu had a childhood ambition of becoming a Professor by the time she was 30 years old. She achieved this with much grace and humility.
