In March 2017, six year old Adrian of Abington, Massachusetts was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. This is a very rare type of cancerous tumor commonly found in the adrenal glands and affects children under 10.
Adrian is at Stage 4 of this deadly disease. This means the cancer has spread (metastasized) to other parts of the body. He has gone through 5 cycles of chemotherapy and other treatments. As a result, the family is under great financial strain as they wait for Adrian to undergo yet another phase of treatment expected to last 6 months.
Adrian’s parents are overwhelmed financially and are extending a plea to the community for help. The family, Gathua organizing committee, friends, and well-wishers have organized a prayer and fundraiser event.
