Peter Ndambiri’s wife speaks, forgives Kirinyaga Deputy Governor
Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri hasbeen forgiven by his wife after he was allegedly busted in a compromising situation with a woman identified as Elizabeth Waithera Njuguna last week.
Speaking at the Christ is the Answer ministries (CITAM) Ndambiri remarked that the incident bore all the marks of the devil, “The devil had been defeated and the devil will not succeed.”
In turn, Ndambiri’s wife, who had accompanied him to the church, explained that her husband had narrated the incident to her including the claim that Waithera was part of an extortion ring that wanted to pocket Sh5 million.
She added that she had done a lot of soul searching and the scandal was not going to drive a wedge between her and the Deputy Governor.
The short video that purported to show Ndambiri butt-naked as he tried to wiggle his way out of the ‘trap’ went viral online as the social media community went berserk over the juicy scandal.
Governor Anne Waiguru’s running mate however denied the reports and apportioned the expose on a blackmail racket that attempted to ‘ensnare’ him in bed.
The video was allegedly filmed in Thika town long before the fifth edition of the devolution conference that went down in Kakamega County.
It drew enough spotlight on Ndambiri forcing him to leave the conference.
