Prison Warders death: Hellen Kwamboka found murdered in Nairobi
News of a policewoman Hellen Kwamboka found dead in her house is troubling, it comes just few weeks after the murder of Prison warders Pauline Wangari in Muranga and carol chepchirchir in Nakuru.
The body of Hellen Kwamboka, a police officer attached to Parliament Police Station was found dumped at her Umoja house in Nairobi. According to the Standard Newspaper, it is It is alleged she was murdered on Friday morning.
Officers who were on duty with Kwamboka suspected something was amiss when she did not pick up her phone or report for duty, they decided to go to her Umoja house on Gaikuyu Road.
On arriving, DCI officers from Buru Buru found the house locked from the inside and suspected something ‘unusual.’
The body of Hellen Kwamboka was found on her bed with a deep cut on her head and blood stains all over the house, there were signs of strangulation on her neck.
No murder weapon was discovered at the crime scene and the deceased’s mobile phone was missing.
According to the Standard report,Police are pursuing her boyfriend as a possible murder suspect as they believe he killed her before escaping. The lover had earlier visited Kwamboka before committing the alleged crime.
The body of the deceased has been moved to Chiromo mortuary in Nairobi.
