It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Joseck Muchiri Muhuhi of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 53, while receiving medical care at the hospital. He was surrounded by his loved ones during his final moments.
Dr. Joseck was the beloved son of Margaret Wambui Muhuhi of Kirinyaga, Kenya, and the late Reuben Muhuhi Muchiri. He was the cherished fiancé of Florence Chege of Boston, Massachusetts, and a devoted father to his two beloved children, Catherine (19) and Collins (14), who reside in Michigan with their mother.
Joseck will be remembered for his kindness, compassion, dedication, and the positive impact he made on the lives of those who knew him. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the many lives he touched.
He will be laid to rest in Michigan. Details regarding prayer meetings, the funeral service, and burial arrangements will be communicated as soon as they become available.
