A Pediatrician Kenyan doctor, Dr. Jackson Maina Nganga has opened a Pediatric Practice in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Dr. Maina graduated from University of Nairobi medical school in 1988 after which he came to the U.S to pursue further training. His training in Pediatrics included a Pediatric Residency at the Albany Medical Center, New York, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
He is a board certified pediatrician with special training in Pediatric critical care. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He had been employed for 13 years but he decided that it is time to open his own practice.
There are many Kenyans who live in Hagerstown and the surrounding areas and he will be serving them as he serves other communities.
