A meeting between a mother and a long lost son may have thwarted a terror attack that would have killed many during the Mashujaa Day celebrations at the Nyayo stadium last week. The mother to self confessed Al Shabaab member Elgiva Bwire alias Mohammed Seif says she met her son at the celebration after trying to trace him on vain for the last two years. The parents say they are shocked that their son was involved in the recent grenade attacks in the city.
