NTV’s Richard Chacha is asking for your help to seek specialized treatment abroad

Monday, July 16, 2012 – Not long ago news on the traffic accident that left NTV’s Richard Chacha almost crippled broke and Kenyans at large expressed their sympathy and wished them quick recovery.

The senior political reporter was in the company of Linus Kaikai, China Central TV (CCTV) Editor Emmanuel Talam, Frida Kirima and Ephantus Mwangi headed for Linus Kaikai’s rural home in Kilgoris County when the accident occurred near Mai Mahiu.

In an email released by NMG’s Human Resource Manager Pauline Mwikali, the family, friends and colleagues of Richard Chacha are calling for help from the public to raise funds which will enable the flamboyant journalist to travel to South Africa for specialized treatment.

Kenyans via Bring Back Zack campaigns are in the move of raising funds to build our very own spinal rehabilitation center.

The email read and we quote:

Dear colleagues,

Richard is doing well and continues with daily physiotherapy at Nairobi Hospital and we thank God for his impressive recovery.

He is due for discharge anytime now and on discharge, his doctor has recommended further occupational therapy in South Africa.

His family is calling on well-wishers who would like to make financial contributions as they make arrangements for further treatment abroad.

Those who would like to make contributions can do so using the attached details.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support to Richard and his family.

Best regards,

Mwikali

Kenyans of goodwill should kindly contribute and help see Chacha back to his feet.
