Citizen TV acquires the first TV helicopter in Kenya


Citizen TV has made a bold step towards winning the hearts of their viewers; the long awaited chopper has landed.

Early this year, S.K. Macharia was romoured to be in the US with his family on a chopper buying mission which will help with the coverage of next year’s general election and it seems it has arrived earlier than speculated.

The chopper will cover news from all Counties and in the country during the election and is equipped with state of the art communication equipment.

Citizen TV under the wing of Royal Media Services is known of having the best equipment for news coverage in the industry; which explains their clear pictures and leadership in the industry.

During their afternoon bulletins Citizen TV prided itself with the debut coverage of Moi sports center Kasarani with the chopper; the images have definitely awed many and cannot wait to see more of the bird’s eye view.

According to reporters and journalist in the lucrative media house, excitement has filled the house and they cannot wait to have an experience with the new technology.
