Tension is high in Nairobi’s Mathare slums area 3C following Friday night clashes between two rival gangs that saw 30 houses set on fire.
The incident was triggered by the killing of three people early this week. Â Police have however ruled out any political or tribal motive in the latest attack.

One of those killed is said to be a police informer who was burnt to death in his house.
Police have not made any arrest yet but heavy contingent of security personnel has been deployed to calm tension in the area.
Emergency Medical services ambulance and Kenya Red Cross Nairobi Branch disaster response teams are on standby for back response.
