She was mother to Florence Njeri Gichaiya (Mama Ngeru) and Eliud Kabuga Gichaiya. She was wife to James Gichaiya Gitaka, and daughter to Faith Ng’ang’a and the late Ng’ang’a Mwireri of Ndutumi, Maragwa.
Mother-in-law to James Muritu Ngeru and Edith Kabuga. Grandmother to Keith Muritu, Kaiden Muritu, and James Gichaiya Kabuga.
