Michael Jordan’s mum to host city fundraiser in Nairobi
Delores Jordan, who has been in the country since last Thursday will host the fund raising at the Intercontinental hotel, Nairobi. In a interview with the star yesterday, Jordan said the wellness centre is committed to promoting equality and good health care for everyone.
“The centre will offer testing services for cancer, HIV testing, obscenity among other diseases to all,” Jordan said. She said education and counseling services will also be offered as well as job opportunities.
Jordan said the centre will be an economic friendly based upon the patient’s income thus will be affordable to everyone. The centre will be built on a 10-acre piece of land on Thika Road, a land that has been donated by the United States International University.
It will be a 184 bed general hospital for both in and out patients. Jordan said the centre will also have a forensic lab which will address criminal justice against abuse victims.
