Kenyan officials have been appointed to key Confederations of African Football (Caf) committees for the next two years.
Kenya FA President Sam Nyamweya is now a member of the African Nations Championships (Chan) committee responsible for organizing the biannual event.
Nyamweya’s deputy Robert Asembo has been appointed a member of the Caf appeals board. Doris Petra an Fkf Nec member, will serve in the Caf fair play and social responsibility committee.
Nicholas Musonye who initially served in the Caf Media Committee, has been elevated and will now serve as a zonal representative in the consultative committee of national associations.
Nyamweya has congratulated the appointed officials saying this was in recognition to the good work done by the federation.
“I want to urge my colleagues to work hard and repay the confidence Caf has on them,” he toldย Goal.com.
