While in Ethiopia, President Kenyatta will attend the 21st Ordinary Session of the Assembly of theAfrican Unionย (AU) Heads of State and Government.
The AU summit coincides with the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the OAU-AU.
The Summit theme โPan-Africanism and the African Renaissanceโ raises the profile of the AU and also provides a mobilising point for uniting different actors including citizens, governments and the private sector towards political and economic prosperity.
Uhuru will be one of the key speakers during the summit and his speech will reflect on Kenyaโs achievements and national programmes.
The President will be accompanied by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary Ambassador Amina Mohamed and senior government officials.
