SHENZHEN, China, 23 Aug 2013 (PSCU) –Two Chinese Companies have donated communication equipment worth $ 2.6 million to Kenya.
Huawei Technologies Company Limited and Eastern Communication Limited donated the equipment during President Uhuru Kenyatta’s first State visit to China at separate ceremonies in Shenzhen and Hangzhou respectively.
The communication equipment will be used to enhance security. The donation is in line with the ongoing cooperation between Kenya and China in addressing security challenges.
