JENDAYI FRAZER TELLS BENSOUDA TO DROP UHURU/ RUTO’S CASES UNCONDITIONALLY- SHE IS CHASING THE WIND.

Friday September 13, 2013 – Former US Secretary of State for African Affairs, Ms Jendayi Frazer, has sensationally urged International Criminal Court (ICC) Chief Prosecutor, Fatou Bensouda, to drop the two Kenyans cases at The Hague, unconditionally since she will embarrass herself at the end.
Addressing a New York based think tank, on Monday, Ms Frazer said cases facing President Uhuru Kenyatta, his Deputy William Ruto and radio presenter Joshua Sang, took a political angle at the initial stages and it will be a hard task to prosecute the cases.
“The ICC is chasing wind. The two Kenyan cases have no tail or head. She better drops them before she is humiliated before the whole world” Frazer said.
Frazer, who has good relations with the Jubilee Government, said going by the recent developments at The Hague, it is clear that the cases will collapse even before the middle of the trial.
She said witnesses’ withdraw has already weakened the cases and it a good thing for Trial Chamber judges to dismiss the cases unconditionally.
On the issue of Kenya withdrawing from the Rome Statute, Frazer supported the move saying this will be a good thing to protect the sovereignty of African countries.  She said more than 30 African countries will follow suit if Kenya withdraws from the Rome statute.
“ICC is a European Court set to embarrass and humiliate African leaders,” she said.
