As the one weekย World Travel Market in London ExCel closed its doors on Thursday 7th November, 2013, a Kenyan Maasai man from the exhibition took a Jubilee Underground train and as it negotiated its journey 600 ft below Thames River from Canning Town to North Greenwich, a passenger on the train took his time to inspect the Maasai man dressing while the Maasai man was busy studying his underground map not to miss his station of exit.
You can imagine the many questions on this white man’s mind – who is this now? Where is he from? Where is he going? What kind of dress is this? Does he know how to read? Why is he carrying the cow’s whisk?
