Confident Kenyan Rugby Sevens Team Lands in Las Vegas
The Sevens rugby team arrived in USA ahead of the fourth round of the HSBC Sevens World Series scheduled for Las Vegas from January 24-26. The side under the tutelage of South African Paul Treu will face Canada, Wales and South Africa in Pool A matches as they seek to impress after failing to go past three Cup quarterfinals this season.
Kenya are currently placed seventh with 32 points same as Samoa with New Zealand (58) on top of the standings followed by South Africa (56), Fiji (48), England (40), Australia (34) and Argentina (33) in the first six spots.
Treu recalled Humphrey Kayange, Oscar Ouma, Dennis Ombachi and Michael Agevi and also handed Tony Owuor a maiden call.- The People
