The daily papers, the radios and Televisions report of strange happenings in the world. Like?
- Wickedness has by passed that of antediluvian era and Sodom and Gomorrah. We seem to be losing it. That we can now marry anybody and anything continue to shock many
- Tragedies on land, in the seas and in the sky tell of a world in chaos
- The urge to go to church, ready the Bible and pray seem to have evaporated.
- The devil has worked hard to convince many that there is no God and that this world will never come to an end
Like many, it’s possible that these things don’t mean a thing to you. It’s possible that like others, you see these as normal day to day happenings. Bu is it? Based on the sure word of God, something big seems to be happening. Let me highlight some passages:
“There will be terrible earthquakes, famines, and plagues everywhere; there will be strange and terrifying things coming from the sky.” (Luke 21:11)
“There will be strange things happening to the sun, the moon, and the stars. On earth whole countries will be in despair, afraid of the roar of the sea and the raging tides. People will faint from fear as they wait for what is coming over the whole earth, for the powers in space will be driven from their courses. Then the Son of Man will appear, coming in a cloud with great power and glory. When these things begin to happen, stand up and raise your heads, because your salvation is near.”(Luke 21:25-28)
Whatever else occupies your mind every single day, please do not ignore the daily happenings. They are the signs of the end time. Find time to read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Avoid being caught unaware.
