Kenyan launches programme to connect Kenyans at home and in Diaspora

The Kenyan government through the State House digital team has launched a new programme seeking to connect Kenyans at home and abroad with senior government officials to share ideas or ask questions

Cabinet secretaries, principal secretaries and other senior directors are some of the officials the public will be able to engage with through the GOKInteracts platform.

The first interaction took place with cabinet secretary for Labour, Social Security and Services Kazungu Kambi being the first to answer questions from the public from the ministry’s headquarters.

“Starting this week government will open up direct access to its top leadership. Cabinet secretaries, permanent secretaries and senior government officials will take and answer all your questions,” director of the State House digital team Dennis Itumbi said.

“We also ask Kenyans in the Diaspora to be part of the interaction and ask questions or present ideas directly with the decision makers.”
