Most of you have probably never seen Oscar winner Lupita do her thing in theater plays but worry no more, that’s about to change.
The actress shared some photos back in the day when she starred in plays at Yale School of Drama. Take a look.

Lupita Nyong’o, an Oscar-winning actress known for her powerful performances in film, has also showcased her talents in theater, including roles in Shakespearean plays.

One of her most notable Shakespearean roles was in “The Public Theater’s Mobile Unit” production of Measure for Measure in 2011, where she played Isabella, one of the central characters.
This production was part of a program that brings free Shakespeare performances to prisons, homeless shelters, and other underserved communities in New York City.
Her performance was praised for its depth and emotional intensity, reflecting her classical training at the Yale School of Drama.
Nyong’o has not yet taken on some of the more widely staged Shakespearean heroines on Broadway or in major televised adaptations—such as Lady Macbeth, Juliet, or Rosalind—but many critics and fans have expressed strong interest in seeing her in such roles.
