Yolanda Adams Maryland concert to benefit Kenyan school
Four-time Grammy Award winning artist Yolanda Adams will headline an event that is expected to boost ties between Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Greenbelt, MD and Marmanet Secondary School in Laikipia.
Eleanor Roosevelt hopes to expand its cultural exchange program with the Kenyan school.
The concert at the University of Maryland is organised by a non-profit organisation called A Very Taylored Foundation (AVTF).
The target is youth who have experienced neglect and defeat. AVTF believes that education is a catalyst that promotes self-sufficiency and aspirations of being successful within individuals.-nation.co.ke
